Great graphic design is not the most important thing, but it helps drastically when you are telling a story. The gospel story is the most important story there is. So we need to do all we can to make it great, that is where design comes in. The world uses great design all day long to tell it’s story. Think about how well movie studios use graphics to advertise their upcoming releases with the imagery, fonts, icons and colors that reinforce their storyline. In comparison, church graphics often times come up short.

I have included these mockups we have done for “The Forge Youth Group” on the right so you can see to what extent we will go to create a great looking free design for your church. We will keep going until we have created together something that we can both be proud of. Each one of these is a different version created one after another after speaking with the them and then adjusting and re-creating. This is a process, but we are here to help you through the process so you end up with something great.

Over the years we have seen plenty of church designs. Some of those designs are great, but many designs are embarrassing. We’re here to help. Now Designing a logo has never been easier.
Years ago, when we began printing t-shirts for some of the churches in our corner of the world, we began to re-design or completely design from scratch logos for churches totally free of charge. We knew that if we didn’t step up and create something great, these churches were going to be represented by sub-par design. We just couldn’t sit by and watch as poor design distracted people from the truth. Here we are 21 years later still doing it. “We will design anything for your church for free, as long as you are having us print it for you.”
A good logo design is…
Distinctive. Memorable. And timeless.
It is aesthetically pleasing.
It is scalable, looking good while as large as a billboard or as small as a dime. It looks good in color as well as black and white. And it is simple enough that it can be applied to a media spectrum as broad as paper to plastic and t-shirts to websites.
Most importantly, a good logo communicates the unique qualities of your church. A great church logo in and of itself does not create great church branding. But it does give a church the foundation needed to build a solid brand.
Don’t spend good money printing an ugly logo on anything. Take the time to make it stellar. It’s a no brainer!
